BEAUTIFUL HOMETOWN
‘’Ambon Manise’’
Ambon
city or Amboina or Ambonese (sometimes spelled as Ambong or Ambuni) is a city
and also the capital of the province of Maluku, Indonesia.
This city is also
known by the name Ambon Ambon Manise which means beautiful / pretty, is the largest city in the Maluku
islands and became central to the region of the Moluccas. Currently Ambon city
became the center of the port, tourism and education in the Moluccas.
Ambon
city bordering the Banda Sea in the south and the Central Maluku district to
the east (islands Lease comprising Haruku islands, island Saparua, Molana
islands, islands and islets Nusalaut Pombo), in the west (petuanan country
Hila, Leihitu, Central Maluku and Kaitetu, Leihitu, Central Maluku Leihitu
included in the sub-district, Central Maluku) and the north (subdistrict
Salahutu, Central Maluku).
The
city is classified as one of the major cities and towns of Eastern Indonesia
diregion development seen from the aspect of development and economic growth.
Ambon,
was
rocked by social unrest motivated SARA between 1996-2002. However, now Ambon
Manise has to improve itself into a more advanced city and ogled as an
international city in eastern Indonesia.
An
examination of the demographic and ethnicity, the city of Ambon is a portrait
of a pluralistic city. Where is this city dwelling ethnic Alifuru (original
Moluccas), Java, Bali, Buton, Bugis, Makassar, Papua, Malay, Minahasa, Minang,
Flobamora (tribe Flores, Sumba, Alor and Timor) and those of foreign descent
Chinese community, Arabic community-Ambon-Ambon Spanish community, the
community and the community of Portuguese-Dutch Ambon-Ambon).
Currently, Ambon city is divided
into 5 districts namely Nusaniwe, Sirimau, Ambon Bay, Gulf Leitimur Banguala
and South, which are divided over 50 keluarahan-village.
The reason I chose ambon as my discussion, because the
first Ambon is the city where I was born , and where almost all the memories of
my childhood are so beautiful passed in a small village on the mountain
Sirimau, Soya.
This village is very beautiful , cool and much
overgrown by the fruit of the tree. In the front of my house, you can found
durian trees that until now the fruit is still so much and it was very
enjoyable. The fruit is always there every year and there is also bark, banana,
guava, and many more pieces that are rarely found in the market of traditional
and modern market. when night falls, the air is very cold kampong, and we will
be happy to stay and hang out with the family at home rather than having to sit
outside the house. But that is very amazing, when heavy rain stopped, comes the
fog that blanketed the entire village. It's incredibly rare to encounter in
jakarta.
Sirimau mountain above
also, we can see the whole city of Ambon clearly, and do not forget the
stunning beauty of the sea and remedy your eyes for the first time to see it.
However, many businesses need to get to this place. We should take
approximately 300 more stairs to get on top of the mountain. But do not worry,
during the course of your eyes presented with beautiful views, green leaves.
There are the beautiful places that you have
to visit when you come to Ambon:
1. Hukurila Beach
Hukurila, in Ambon, Maluku is known underwater beauty.
Enter a keyword in the search engine Hukurila cyberspace the first page of
search results will be filled by underwater Hukurila description. But mainland
Hukurila turned out to save a lot of things that can be enjoyed.
Hukurila beaches are on the south side of the island of
Ambon, which faces east. Administratively, Hukurila Beach located in the
District of South Leitimur, which still includes the city of Ambon. This beach
is open to the Banda Sea. The first impression when arriving at this beach, the
locals are friendly and beautiful scenery.
Because facing east, it is suitable for photographic
beaches await the sunrise. When visiting Hukurila Beach on Sunday (8/4), while
the evening after 14 hours of this beach has begun shrouded shadows. Spread
shore based limestones white color draped black sand.
There seems to be an old volcano that is already dead,
but still leaves the deposition of volcanic material in the form of black sand.
Fresh fresh water flowing in a small stream of clear and shallow. Local
children running around while shouting excitedly welcomed the swash-lapping
waves.
Hukurila beach unlike Liang beach crowded on weekends.
The beach was not as well known as beach Natsepa with rujak. Hukurila beach
just decorated with waving palm trees and a few houses that atmosphere of
silence. There are no traders, no lodges also shelter. Even beach Lawena latter
began to busy just had some modest cottage for the visitors.
At a depth of more than 20 meters below sea level,
there Hukurila Cave is a favorite place of divers who visit Ambon. On the
surface of the water, beach Hukurila had a decent view of the favorites as
well. But let silence under and above the water surface Hukurila Beach is
maintained.
Later, if the more famous Hukurila Beach, presumably
residents and local authorities while maintaining the original atmosphere and
natural nan silence.
The distance from my house to the Hukurila pretty
close, about 20min journey and we also will pass through the narrow streets,
and past the steep cliffs and too many ravines. So, it is advised those who are
used to pass through this place to be riding a motorcycle or a car. because if
people who are not familiar, would be very dangerous to themselves and
passengers. However, the trip will be paid when arrived there. so beautiful,
and the still blue water beaches and quiet, as if we were swimming in a
privately owned beach.
2.
ORA BEACH
Maldives or Bora-Bora , surely these are too far
from Indonesia, our lovely country . But, don’t be sad. Indonesia have Maldives
and Bora-Biora too . Thank God, that he has given Indonesia a very
beautiful island in Maluku. Ora Beach . surely you can compare
with those two globally famous on top of sea resort.
Here, I can feel the luxury of staying on
top of the clear seawater, in
the mids of corals. This is trully heaven!
When you want to go to Ora you
have to go to Tulehu
Port, crossing the sea headed to Amahai Port in Seram Island, then continue two
hours car ride to Sawai Village. Ora beach located in the north central
part of the island Of Seram, at the Sawai
bay area.
This wooden cottage built on top of the sea.
With Manusela National Park hills in the background, the sight is simply
spectacular.
Ora Beach
Resort dock is bunch of corals stretching in the water, so close to the shoreline and even when the water receded in the evening, most of the coral popping in the surface,
until it covered by high tides in the next day. There are
6 cottages, each as
one room, and the large cottage with 3 rooms on it. I got one of the best room withterrace towards the sea more than others. Simply relaxing. Just look down from the terrace, you'll see
colorful corals in water so crystal clear, it makes everyone hard to hold
themself from grabbing my fins and splash into the water. Also when you swim
around this area, you'll feel fresh water flowing from the hills, collide with
sea water.
This
combination of fresh and salt water makes in some area the water is cold and in
some is warm, it's a thermocline which makes some water look like sugar in a
glass of water, and some just clear, interesting! This is a place you don't
want to leave, a place to remind me again how beautiful Indonesia is, and how
pretty Maluku's beaches and sea.
3. FORT
AMSTERDAM
It is one of the
invaders in Ambon forts built in 1512. Amsterdam's shaped like a regular house
consisting of three floors. The first floor into the bed of the soldiers. The
second floor is used as a meeting room and the third floor is a monitoring
post. Aside from the third floor of the main building, there is still a tower
which is also used to monitor the situation around.
Amsterdam is the second fort built in Ambon after
Kastee van Verre. Before becoming a bulwark, sights Ambon is a spice storage
spoils.
Located in
Kecematan Hila, Ambon, you can get into this fortress for free.
That's some
interesting sights in Ambon, that you should visit if you come to Ambon. In
fact, there are many more interesting places in Ambon, such as trips to the
mountains, and the museum but that concerns me is the beaches and the fort
above. Lots of beauty that is not to be missed when it comes to Ambon. How
great and magnificent creation of God Almighty for our mortal earth .But, often
of God's creation and use of natural resources that exist. Because, Indonesia
entered the country by sea resources are very abundant and beauty of the sea.
so, as a man who lived on earth, we must be able to maintain our beautiful
earth, and should promote Indonesia to our own citizens or to foreign tourists
in order to be able to visit and see the beauty of nature in Indonesia.
